You may not know it, but the cruelty doesn't end at puppy mills and pit bull fighting. It has recently got out that the USDA has been using kittens as test tubes.  They feed the kittens parasite-infected raw meat, collect the feces, then they euthanize the kittens at about two-three weeks of age. About one hundred kittens each year fall victim to the USDA’s cruel methods. Even worse, the parasite (called Toxoplasma), is curable and almost all of the kittens are healthy when they are euthanized. Why do they do this? Because the kittens are being used as hosts in parasite research. It's not the research that is bad since it causes the kittens no pain, but the method of killing the kittens.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, 
"Cowardice asks the question, Is it safe? 
Vanity asks the question, Is it popular? 
But, conscience asks the question, Is it right? 
And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right."

This is a beautiful thing to live by. There is much more to life than plainly living. These words from the worlds greatest activist show us that part in our mind that tells us what is truly okay.  The part that USDA ignores. They are driven more by money and research  (popularity) and fear of losing that popularity. This is why we must teach the USDA that kittens are worth more than they could ever understand.

I am deeply sicked by all of those people out there who think it is ok to do this to animals. I demand justice! I demand animal abusers to do something better with their lives! Life is precious, and we shall not spill innocent blood for research or money.  Save animals, Save Lives.
