There are too many people with invisible diseases and disabilities that may appear young or nothing is wrong with them. People have had cruel and disturbing notes left on their car windshields, spoken to with no respect, and have had and the police called on them for using the handicap placard that has been legally issued to them. There are so many diseases and disabilities that you can not see, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, CIDP ALS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc. When someone with an invisible disease or disability parks in a handicap spot while using their handicap placard, terrible things have happened. This also causes more pain, anxiety, and suffering for people that already deal with pain on a daily basis that no one can physically see.  

Something has to change. Something needs to be done. 

I would like to get as many signatures as possible to create an orange handicap placard to be used for those that suffer from invisible diseases and disabilities. This placard would be designed with the color orange so that when you see someone that may look young or may appear as though nothing is wrong with them, the orange handicap placard would distinguish that their diagnosis is invisible.
