BAN PROPAGANDA - Reinstate commonly known as The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 to original law
The Issue
The Smith-Mundt Act (also known as U.S. Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (Public Law 80-402)) was enacted following WWII.
Per Wikipedia: The Act was developed to regulate broadcasting of programs for foreign audiences produced under the guidance by the State Department, and it prohibited domestic dissemination of materials produced by such programs as one of its provisions.[1] The original version of the Act was amended by the Smith–Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 which allowed for materials produced by the State Department and the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) to be disseminated (widely spread) within the United States.
The amendment to this Act in 2012 has caused irreparable harm to the citizens of the US by the US State Department and the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) in the form of lies, slander & indoctrination. This, in turn, has caused mass hysteria, anger, confusion and division within our citizenry. The role of government is to represent and facilitate the will of the people. The role of media is to inform the people of truth. In today's society, both of these roles have been grossly corrupted and now subvert the will of “we the people”.
We ask you, the Supreme Law of the Land in the United States, to revoke the amendment of 2012 in order to restore truth, law & order, justice and - ultimately - unity, to the Republic.
