Shade and Seating at Presidio Port of Entry!

Shade and Seating at Presidio Port of Entry!
The Issue
This complaint is in regard to the facility at the port of entry in Presidio, TX.
I have been a resident of Presidio for 24 years. I have and do cross over to Ojinaga, Chihuahua frequently to buy groceries, dentist visits, etc.
All of these years crossing, I have noticed that there is no shade, no seating, and no access to water for the people who are standing outside in line to get their permits for traveling to the United States. I also have found out that they are no longer allowed to bring their vehicles and park in the adjoining parking lot. They are now required to walk across the bridge and on occasion, stand for hours outside.
In Presidio, the summers are oppressively HOT. Temperatures can reach up to 120 degrees and are usually in the triple digits. I cannot imagine how hot it is standing on the concrete with no shade, no chairs and no water.
I often see women with small babies and children , the elderly who can barely walk...standing there.
This is totally unacceptable and inhumane treatment. I know that the port has plans for eventually built larger, but that does not help the people now.
This issue has been addressed by the Mayor of Presidio, the Economic Development group here and other concerned citizens of Presidio, yet nothing has been done. Many have offered to put up temporary shade and/or give bottles of water to the people but were told we could not do so. I notice even the drug sniffing dogs have access to shade and water, yet the people do not!??
Even on the Mexican side, during high travel times, they put up shade, chairs, have fans and water available to the people waiting in line.
My question and concerns are obvious. WHEN will something be done!?
