End Counterfeiting of Stocks and Market Manipulation in the Stock Market

End Counterfeiting of Stocks and Market Manipulation in the Stock Market

The Issue

The United States markets, and our entire economy are being threatened by the illegal practice of naked shorting. We are calling on you to use the powers of the Senate to end counterfeiting in the US Stock Markets

Market makers are flooding the market with "IOUs," "Synthetic shares," "Failure to Delivers," and other euphuisms for COUNTERFEIT STOCK. You have given the market makers the ability to print an unlimited supply of a company's stock, to cover over sold markets instead of allowing the price to naturally rise. Would you allow banks to print money? Of course not! Why is this practice allowed?

Market Makers are allowed to trade in dark pools and OTC markets to keep prices of stocks from reaching their fair market value. Why don't retail traders have access to these markets?

It is said that a stock is always worth it's price. That all known information is already priced in. We the people have decided what these favorite stocks of ours are worth. The shorts must be made to cover their positions with real shares of these stocks.

You're being distracted by the "pay for order flow" topic and what others are calling manipulation by the common retail trader. The focus on apps and how trading has been turned into a video game are way off base.

Trading has been made simple enough for ordinary people to understand. Ordinary people, US taxpayers, your constituents, and International investors alike, have exposed the corruption by these hedge funds, market makers and brokers. We're not the problem, we're part of the solution to make our markets more transparent, more fair.

This problem is one of Wall Street's own making. They've been speculating and gambling with our futures for decades. They need to be made to pay their debits.

The SEC isn't enforcing their own regulations, even as they write more that are meant to combat the problem.

The DTCC knows exactly how many of the shares have been sold to your constituents are real and how many are fakes. They know exactly how many shares of every stock should be in the system vs how many more have been sold. They are keeping this information away from the stock holders and the US public.

We can see how many shares are supposed to exist, we can see how many are held by insiders and how many are held by institutions and what percentage is held by retail. The numbers don't add up.

There are no innocent players in this game. The hedge funds who've shorted the stocks had hoped to walk away with all the money and watch as the companies went out of business. The market makers who have created all these counterfeit shares to be able to keep selling stock to retail and to the funds that need them to continue shorting. The funds and institutions that are lending the counterfeit shares to continue collecting the interest. They are all complicit.

The SEC is compromised. Regulations aren't being enforced and when they are, the penalties are so little compared to the billions of dollars made while breaking the rules, it amounts to a parking ticket.

We are calling on you all to fight for your constituents and not your donors.

The world's eyes, and money, are on you. How you act will make or break the world's trust in the United States economic system.

Count the shares. Every share. Every company. End Counterfeiting in the US Stock Markets.
