Protect DACAÉtats-Unis

25 déc. 2016
We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and the time spent with family and friends!
However, let us not forget that President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration will take place on Friday, January 20th and it is absolutely critical that we gather as much support in the weeks leading up to his inauguration. If Donald Trump is to follow through with any of his campaign promises, the termination of the DACA program will be one of Trump's first actions as president.
As some of you may know, multiple U.S. Senators are working on creating a new bill that will help protect DREAMERS. Senator Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham are promoting the bill which has been titled the Bridge Act, which would allow the at least 740,000 young immigrants who have gotten deportation reprieves and work permits under Obama to keep those benefits for three more years if they are revoked. It is vital that we do everything we can to show our support to these Senators and this new bill.
There are currently over 740,000 DACA immigrants whose fear of DACA's termination and of their deportation is continuing to increase exponentially as Trump's inauguration grows nearer. Families across the nation may be celebrating their last Christmas and New Year here in America if we do not continue to work toward improving our immigration laws. Help us take one small step toward this goal and continue sharing this petition with friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to help us catalyze a new age of smarter immigration laws.
If you are able and willing, please consider promoting our petition through this link here: https://www.change.org/p/united-states-protect-and-preserve-deferred-action-for-childhood-arrivals-daca/sponsors/new?source_location=petitions_show_components_action_panel_wrapper
Donating just $10 sends the petition to 1000 change.org users.
Thank you for your support and Happy Holidays!
