Protect DACAUnited States
Nov 30, 2016
Thank you all for your support. It is a wonderful sight to see so many people willing to support this cause and it is so nice to see the comments left by everyone who has signed this petition. Please do leave a comment stating why you support this cause if you haven't already! We have successfully passed 700 signatures, and our next goal to strive for is 1,000 signatures. This will take time, effort, and support from every one that has signed but it is achievable. The New York Times and Washington Post have even recently published articles covering the DACA program, bringing more attention and potential supporters to this cause. We all must reach out to as many possible supporters and signers as possible. Leave comments with a link to this petition on Facebook pages such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Huffington Post, Occupy Democrats, Democratic Party, and any other pages where potential supporters may be visiting. Reach out to colleges and educators, non-profit organizations that support immigrants and immigration reform, reporters, local politicians and activists, and other figures of influence that can draw more attention to this cause. The more attention we can grab, the more signatures we can gather, the closer we are to having a significant impact. It is up to us if we wish to to use this opportunity to build further support for our cause. Please continue sharing this petition, and our numbers and strength will grow.
