For to long Herriman, Utah residents have had their mail delivery serviced by the Riverton post office. As Herriman is one of the fastest growing communities the the greater Salt Lake City area the resources of the Riverton post office have been stretched too thin and is started to break down. Mail delivery of packages is spotty at best. The chances of actually receiving the correct package are getting worse each day. The mail carriers are showing up later and later each day. Neighbors are having to do the finally delivery of packages for the carriers as they are so overworked they are making big mistakes and misdelivering packages all the time . Calling the Riverton post office is fruitless as the local Postmaster is either over worked and does not really care to improve anything. Speaking with other individuals in Herriman on Social media they are facing the same problem. It is way past time that Herriman City gets its own Post office to service its citizens.
