Petition for On Street Delivery of Mail (Rural Delivery)
 

·         We will keep the Bairdford Town name

·         We will not lose the 15006 Zip code

·         No struggling to mail anything to a PO Box

·         Just use the house# no PO Box #

·         No rush to get to post office

·         No dealing with ridiculous hours

·         No dealing with poor customer service from the Bairdford office

·         Move us in to the year 2015 and stop using  1940 technology to deliver mail

·         No dealing with lost mail because it was sent back because it had no PO Box#

·         We will have to put up mail boxes on the street or they may put up a large cluster of boxes at a few spots throughout the neighborhood.

·         More than likely the mail will come from the Gibsonia office since that is where it comes from now

I’m sure I am not the only one that has had issues with the Bairdford post office.  I am trying to get us rural delivery that in my opinion will make things a little easier for all of us.  Bairdford post office serves about 150 homes. The mail truck from Gibsonia stops about 150 yards from the Bairdford office. The Cheswick / Tarentum truck stops just before ST. Victor’s church. One of these could easily pick up the route.
