Pass H.R. 625

The Issue

H.R. 625 would award combatant casualty benefits to the victims and their families of the November 5th, 2009 Fort Hood shooting by Maj. Nidal Hasan. Passage of this resolution would classify this incident as a terrorist attack and not an act of work place violence. Passage of this resolution would provide a small amount of solace to the victims and their families of terrorist attacks in the United States by persons acting on behalf of extremist, radical, or terrorist organizations or idealogies.
