Shut Down AnonIB.com on the Grounds of Child Porn and Endangerment of Women

In the last decade or so of the internet's existence, there has been a proliferation of imageboard websites, often called Chan websites, where users can anonymously post images they find throughout the internet onto message boards that are normally divided up categorically. Some imageboard websites are tame, and encourage social community and do not infringe upon law. Others do not. Content on these sites ranges anywhere from funny images all the way to intensely sexually explicit imagery.

AnonIB is a Chan website that goes far beyond infringing upon law, and whether this is intentional or not, whether there are rules on their site against it or not, is entirely irrelevant. Anon IB should be taken down on the grounds of Child Pornography and the dangers its category system presents to minors and women in general.

A quick scroll of the sidebar of AnonIB.com will show you imageboard categories by state, with a header eloquently titled "Sluts by State." Within each state's imageboard category, you will often find threads listing different cities, asking for "wins." A win is a nude image of a girl and, more often than not, one that was meant for private viewing by a boyfriend or lover. Men from these cities pool their "wins" together, resulting in a mass collection of nude images of girls from their city. Oh, and did I mention that these girls' first name and last initial, sometimes even last name, are posted as well?

Now, as if the sheer disgusting immorality of this whole ordeal isn't enough to tip you off, here's the penultimate disgusting factoid that should really put you over the edge and signing this petition:

Most of the girls who become exposed by the men on these threads are 15-18 years old. How do I know? My city has a thread. I have female friends that are pictured on there, and I'm working to get them off of it. I'm working to stop this invasion of privacy that none of these girls asked for. And ultimately, I'm working to end this website's proliferation of child pornography.

A further issue, but not any less important, is that this type of website can be, and is, used to blackmail these young women into taking further images and/or doing sexual favors to prevent the further spread of the images. This site is actively aiding these blackmailers into taking advantage of these (often underaged) young women, whether they intend to or not, whether they have "rules" against it or not.

This site is NOT being policed in a suitable manner. This site is actively providing a vehicle for the mass sharing, use of to blackmail, and hosting of Child Pornography.

Over the course of this petition, I will hope to obtain statements from hundreds of girls appearing on the website regarding their age at the time they took the erotic images to provide as evidence to the proper authoritative body.

As of this moment, I am petitioning the Federal Bureau of Investigation to stop or create an investigation which leads to the cleansing, restricting, or permanent shut-down of AnonIB.com and its proliferation of Child Pornography.

Creating this atmosphere and enabling users to this degree is inviting more cases like the recent Amanda Todd case to continue to occur.

--------------------------------------------------

THE TWO MAIN REASONS YOU SHOULD BE AGAINST ANONIB:

1. Provides nude photographs of underage women, regardless of what the moderation staff has posted as "rules."

2. Assists in coerced intercourse/rape by providing blackmail material to perpetrators, with nude images of women sorted by City and State.
