People around the Country are worried about their safety, property values, constitutional rights, local ordinances even their own elected officials subverted by a corporation cloaking itself in the guise of a public utility which had nothing to do with the public good. Not to mention the health dangers revealed in studies that suggest-that residents with the highest exposure to active fracking wells are twice as likely to suffer from various health symptoms, including asthma, nasal and sinus problems, migraines, nosebleeds, immunity conditions, neurology conditions, heart conditions, premature births, high risk pregnancies, stillborns, miscarriages, children born with rare medical conditions and various types of cancers. The elected officials/ and Big Oil think they can only be the ones to know the truth about this secret society of allowing fracking inside our county and lives, instead the City Hall and elected officials in each city in SLO need to take back their power and enacted ordinances, restricting or banning fracking within their borders.
