Rob Day has dedicated more than half of his
career in law enforcement with the MCSO to being a
K-9 handler. He spends 24/7 with his partner Herren.
Herren is his second K-9 partner in his 13 years as a
K-9 handler. Herren in a K-9 trained to detect Nitrates/
Explosives assigned to the Greater Rochester
International Airport by the TSA K-9 program with Rob
as his handler. If Rob as well as veterinarians says it's in
the best interest of his partners health to medically
retire Herren due to a seizure disorder, thats enough
for me. That should be enough for the TSA K-9
program or everyone else who has Herren's best
interest in mind. The TSA K-9 program is removing
Herren back to Texas to reassign Herren to another
handler.
