As we all know COVID-19 has impacted our livelihoods in the past year. In NJ, Residents have had to struggle even more due to the lack of urgency coming from the NJ Department of Labor. Millions of Residents have yet to receive their unemployment funds since the start of the pandemic or have had their unemployment funds abruptly stopped.

On top of the uncertainty of if/when unemployment insurance claims ever get approved, there is no where to find help to solve these issues! The website is useless, as well as the many phone numbers that send callers in circles and continuously hang up on Residents trying to get answers. It’s time NJ officials stop acting like they are not aware of the issue at hand. We need help! Help with urgency- FIX THE UNEMPLOYMENT SYSTEM.
