With all the ❤️ and gratitude to US, the fact is in comparison to the most developed world countries, only US does not have reasonable federal maternity laws allowing moms to recover from child birth & care for newborns for at least 6m-1y without losing pay & job.

We expect women to work like they don’t have  children and raise  children as if they don’t have work.

The world’s richest countries guarantee mothers more than a year of paid maternity leave. The U.S. guarantees them nothing.​
