When Leah Wommack Chaney Said she was “Standing for what Really Matters”. We had to laugh. It is so absurd it borders on lunacy! Recently upon questioning from the public Leah Wommack Chaney formerly known as Leah Askey stated that the Betsy Faria murder was taken over by the feds and she closed the case. She says that she is not allowed to do anything with the Faria murder. We went to two nationally acclaimed Criminal defense attorneys and one former US Attorney who worked in the criminal division at the United States Department of Justice. All Said that this statement is categorically false. That the state and federal authorities can have simultaneous cases against a criminal defendant. That Generally the state and federal jurisdiction are separate sovereigns, that they can prosecute over the same conduct with some limits. What is the basis of federal jurisdiction in the Faria case? That would be insurance fraud. There is no federal murder statute. Oswald was going to be prosecuted in Dallas by the state of Texas because there was no federal murder statute. So by turning the Faria murder over the federal authorities and closing the case in Lincoln County she has created a dead end. Leah has effectively denied justice to Russ and Betsy Faria for her barbaric, brutal murder. Remember Betsy was stabbed at least 55 times and many of the stab wounds were after she was dead. In the Betsy Faria case their is simultaneous jurisdiction. Both the state and the Federal government have authority to prosecute Betsy’s killer(s). We believe that Leah closed the Faria murder case to cover her own tail. That she screwed the case up either intentionally or through negligence. Either way. She is intentionally now letting the killer(s) of Betsy Faria get away with murder. Remember there was unknown male DNA in the blood, on the light switch in the Faria house that did not match Russ Faria. So in all likelihood we have a killer on the loose who was with Pam Hupp the night of the killing. Members have asked Leah Wommack Chaney to get off the Faria murder case and let an independent state prosecutor review it. She refuses to recuse herself. This is true even though she has on its face conflict of interest prohibited by the Rules of Professional responsibility in the Faria Murder. In that she has open bar complaints where jurisdiction has been accepted filed by Judges, Lawyers and citizens groups in regards to the Faria murder case.(Leah is reported to have more bar complaints filed against her than any attorney in Missouri history) She is also being sued in Federal court by Russ Faria. There is a well established conflict of interest on her part to see that Betsy and Russ Faria never get justice. Tim Lomar, the St. Charles County Prosecuting attorney called Pam Hupp the lowest of the low. Going after sick, disabled and elderly victims. This is the person that Leah Wommack Chaney has decided gets a free pass because it exposes her to legal and financial liability. Leah is acting like the Lincoln County Prosecutors race is a popularity contest. It is not. We have a killer loose who preys on weak, vulnerable elderly and disabled persons. Do you want serial killers to go free to kill again? Do you think Russ and Betsy Faria deserve justice? There is a killer out there. Lying in wait for another weak, vulnerable, sick or elderly person. Remember people who kill for money almost always kill again unless they are stopped. A Vote for Leah Wommack Chaney is a vote to deny Russ and Betsy Faria Justice. Leah has said she has no intention to re-open the Betsy Faria murder case. At the same time she says she is very effective at her job with a 98 percent conviction rate. Yet, Leah Askey Chaney failed at the most important case of her career by failing to prosecute and get a conviction against the serial killer who barbarically murdered Betsy Faria. Allowing the killer to kill again! Leah says she is standing for what really matters. Leah is standing for what really matters to her keeping her good paying job at the expense of the people even if it means a killer goes free. Leah is not standing for the safety and security of the Lincoln County citizenry. Leah is really standing to protect the killer(s) of Betsy Faria and her wrong doing in the case. Leah is super manipulative and a well known pathological liar who is a master at spinning her web of deceit. So when Leah says she is Standing for What really Matters you know she is hiding something behind her. Leah’s conduct is so heinous the neighboring county has been gathering information about the Faria murder to present in the subsequent killing of Louis Gumpenberger. They intend to show with that information that the killing of Louis Gumpenberger was not Pam Hupps first murder. The Judge ruled that he will allow this evidence citing the overwhelming evidence that Hupp was involved in the killing of Betsy Faria. Unfortunately, today the Judge allowed the defense a continuance in the Gumpenberger trial. Which means the trial of Pam Hupp will not start on 9/11/2018! Allowing Hupp to evade justice for her crimes yet again. Sadly a Gumpenberger trial would not even be necessary and Louis would be alive today if Leah would have done a good job in the Faria case. Mike Wood the other candidate for Lincoln County Prosecutor has promised to immediately re-open the Faria murder investigation and aggressively pursue the real killers of Betsy Faria. Again there is no statute of limitations on murder. It is not to late to give Russ and Betsy Faria the Justice they deserve. It all depends on the Lincoln County voters. Lincoln County Voters need to decide if they are going to be a county that serves and protects all the citizenry or just the entitled few. Is justice something everyone should be entitled to or just when it is convenient for those in power? Remember Betsy Faria could be your wife, your mother, sister cousin or friend. Isn’t it past time to hold those accountable for the most barbaric murder in Lincoln County history? In the past couple years we have witnessed unconscionable, ongoing conduct by Leah Wommack Chaney. We are asking the Lincoln County voter to stand up for what really matters by standing up against Leah Wommack Chaney’s vindictive, malicious prosecutions, wrongful convictions and freeing a barbaric, brutal serial killer.
