Jacob Tramble Is Illinois Department Of Corrections Inmate Number M31355. During My Short Stay In Menard Correctional Center He Was My Cellmate. During This Time I Witnessed Jacob Being Subjected To Unfair Treatment By Both The Correctional Officers And The Counseling Staff. He Is Currently Being Housed In The Segregation Unit Due To Being Found Guilty Of Assaulting A Correctional Officer. As A Result Of This He Lost 1 Year Of Good Conduct Credits (Good Time) And Also Faces Criminal Charges For Aggravated Battery. After Looking Over The Discovery Of This Case It Is Very Clear To Me, As It Will Be To Anyone Else Who Views It, That This Young Man Is Not Being Treated Fairly. The Report Contains Blatant Lies, And It Is Also Very Clear That The Officers Involved Used Excessive Force. I Believe His Right To File A Grievance Is Being Interfered With As Every Grievance He Has Filed Has Not Been Answered. I Witnessed Him Being Denied His Privileges For No Apparent Reason. This Young Man Has Been And Still Is Being Subjected To Physical And Verbal Abuse, Which Includes Being Denied Meals. This Petition Is To Have This Situation Investigated By The United States Department Of Justice And The NAACP As His Civil Rights Are Being Violated Daily. If You Use The Inmate Number Given At The Beginning Of This To Look Him Up On The Illinois Department Of Corrections Website, You Will See That He Has Physical Injuries To His Face Which Are Also Apparent In The Photos Of The Injuries He Suffered At The Time Of His Alleged Assault Of Corrections Officers. The Report Is Very Inconsistent As To How Many Officers Were Involved And What Actually Took Place.
