My aunt is 26 years old and her liver is failing .. 2 hospitals have denied her a transplant because she is “high risk”. Specifically for relapse (alcohol) and or suicide. Her evals have been being done and she’s failing them but she’s on so many medications how could we think she’s even in her right mind. I just want to know if there’s anyone who’s been through this and or if there’s anything we can do! She has a family who would support her and take care of her.

Circumstance should matter. Trauma, depression, mental health all of it should matter. She is more than her alcohol addiction. She is a life worth saving. She deserves a second chance.
