Just spoke with John Hazelette a letter is supposed to go home with the kids and on blackboard/dojo regarding the work to be done and next steps in insuring our children's safety. There is an air quality test scheduled for Friday throughout the whole school testing for mold, mildew, and asbestos. I asked if the school would be also conducting cleaning of the the school top and bottom searching for rodents. There will also be traps secured around the building for approximately 5 weeks to come. There will also be someone from the Norfolk Public School District down on the ground to insure things are being done first hand. The cleaning is scheduled to begin Saturday after the air quality test. I will be suggesting another test be done to follow to make sure asbestos etc is not left behind. I have requested to be provided a timeline of when and who was aware of this issue and what was done when. I will share anything I'm provided. We will not be in the dark again!!!
