A petition to certify the care of children in adoption care facilities

A petition to certify the care of children in adoption care facilities
The Issue
Today in America, there are over 500,00 children in foster care systems. In today's society, we have been shown that these systems are safe and tedious, that insure the safety of the children in them, but that isn't true in every case. A lot of children that come from these systems are thrown out at the age of 18 to fend for themselves. Others are abused and neglected, mentally and physically. Not only by the systems themselves but by the so-called "foster parents" deemed fit by the state to take care of children. But are they really in it to better the lives of these children? Or are they in it for the government check that they receive for taking in these kids? In the past years 6.1 million dollars of money given to foster parents, have been recorded as fraud. Why? Because they never used it on the children. In these deemed safe and considerate systems the abuse rate is up to 40%. Children in these systems are belittled, told they are not enough, and feel like they are not enough too. And those are just the ones that have been recorded/reported by the children brave enough to speak about it. Without even going into the physical health of these kids, their mental health is usually never put into consideration. They have no voice. Think about the kids that have been separated from their siblings. Those who have been stripped away from the only family that they've ever known because of a rotational system. Those whole live in places that are clearly not up to state guidelines. As someone who has firsthand seen and experienced what happens in orphanages, adoption care facilities, and foster care homes; I'm asking you to please be a voice for those without one, for the sake of the mental health of these children, sign this petition so we can make a change. So we can make these guidelines stricter and more tedious for the sake of these children. Please sign this petition to make a change now!
