When animals are said to have Rabies they must be euthanized.  However when humans are suspected of having Rabies, they get simple tests like saliva, hair follicles, or spinal fluid. Humans and animals have very similar bodys hence why they are both mammals. They both have brains, organs,hearts,etc. Yet animals must be put down to be tested because people dont feel that their lives are as important Its a crime to murder each other, but not to kill an innocent animal? 120 000 animals are euthanized each year in the US to be tested for Rabies, and only 6% of those euthanized come back positive with having Rabies. This is cruel and wrong. Lets make scientists find a new way to test animals for Rabies just like they do for humans. That way we wont lose as many innocent animal lives
