The Issue

Recently an yellow Labrador puppy, was adopted by an woman. While away, the woman's boyfriend attack the poor innocent puppy. The puppy was kicked to death.

The man was charged with felony and misdemeanor animal cruelty. Under North Carolina’s “Susie’s Law,” The man faces prison time, though it will likely be less than a year.

The maximum sentences 39 months in jail. But that’s still indicative of a troubling leniency in how state law treats animal abusers.

Animals do not have a voice.  Animal Abuse leads to other forms of abuse.  Stop the Animal Abuse, and you can stop abuse of children, elderly, and other people who can not defend themselves. Stronger Laws and Enforcement of them is needed everywhere!
