Shut Down Wildlife in Need Inc

The Issue

Wildlife in Need Inc is a "sanctuary" that has been under heat from PETA and the USDA in the past. Even through all the scrutiny from the public and government officials, they continue to offer these "Tiger Play Times" which are a danger to the animal and the general public. Pictures and videos have surfaced of this shady place. They have in the past been accused of abuse, telling people to "punch the tigers in the face if they are misbehaving", other patrons have been bit by the baby tigers in the past, and reports of a hostile owner, Tom Stark. In these photos, you can see the housing units these Class A animals are being kept in. The rusty fence line, and giant spaces where anyone could put their hands through, can hardly contain such an animal with massive amounts of power. If these animals felt threatened, they could easily get out of these enclosures. When animals of this nature escape their enclosures, they are often shot down and killed, as we have seen in the past.

In many carnivore facilities, petting and bottle feeding of cubs is offered, for a fee. These cubs are often taken away from their mothers to stimulate faster reproduction and provide a constant supply of petting carnivores. Visitors pay to pet the animal and have their photograph taken with it, as well as with their slightly older tame carnivore siblings. That is the unfortunate truth about this Industry....and it IS an Industry. The same cubs that you are bottle feeding are destined to be hunted and killed in a 'canned hunt'. You are not "rescuing" a baby tiger or lion with this Industry.
You are taking part in raising money for their care, and profits, while they are being raised to be hunted and killed within a couple of years. Once they are culled, their body parts are then sold on the market... some person in china will buy a tiger penis for the supposed boost in his own virility. This Industry is Depraved, and are taking advantage of those of us who actually love these animals...and that is the worst part of it all. Think about it objectively. How has this place been offering these Tiger Play Times for several years now? Where do all these babies keep coming from? Where are they going? At one point or another, realistically, this place should of filled up on space with all these babies tigers they have 'rescued'. But they haven't. and more and more baby tigers keep showing up.

Many others are angry too, and it's time to take a stand and either get this place shut down, or require they change their facility to be a safe place for the animals and the public health.

Additional things you can do is file with the USDA (you can remain anonymous) and with OSHA as well. If we put enough complaints through, we can get agencies out to investigate this place on a federal level.
