Change the name of Red Delicious Apples to Red Mushy Apples

Change the name of Red Delicious Apples to Red Mushy Apples
The Issue
Every day, millions of shoppers around the USA are presented with the opportunity to buy "Red Delicious" apples. Even while in the store, every consumer can see the that the "red" part of the title is true, and they are anxious to put the "delicious" part of the title to the test. To their disappointment, upon tasting the apple, they are greeted with a mushy, nearly flavorless apple that can not be described as "delicious," especially when comparing to other apples for sale at the grocery store such as: "Fuji," Gala," and "Honey Crisp." Naming said apples "red delicious," the apple Industry leaves not just a (literal) bad taste in the consumer's mouth, but one of betrayal and mistrust.
The solution you may ask? Change the name to be "Red Mushy" apples. Not only will the consumer have proper expectations when biting into the apple, but they'll see the transparency of the apple industry as an indicator that they can begin to believe in America again.
Join with me in creating change that makes a difference! Americans are sick of being lied to, and this is one small way that we can start to see truth in our grocery stores, which will spill over into other parts of american culture.
The next petitions will be "Double Stuf Oreos" (no way that's actually double) and hoverboards.
