People who commit acts of true and real animal cruelty against defenseless creature's must to be stopped ASAP . These people need to be held accountable to the fullest extent that the law will allow. Then, and only then, will justice hopefully be served. Currently, most courts pass down the barest minimum sentences regarding acts of true Animal cruelty. Examples of what that actually means would be: forced dogs fights to the death (which is an un-natural behavior of dogs), burning alive, rape, beating, skinning alive, mutilation, forced starvation, etc. Not only are these physically brutal behaviors horrific by themselves, but research has proven that the people who commits such acts will not stop with animals. These individuals eventually upgrade to children. When that no longer satisfies their needs, women become the next victim. After that, even grown men would become their prey. Getting new and very strong Animal Cruelty laws passed may not completely eliminate the problem, hopefully it will be a major deterrent and force people to think before they act.
