Melita White was 47 years old. Her family was her whole world! She always wanted her family around. Due to an accident at her home, Melita was in the hospital for a surgery during the Corona Virus Pandemic. After the surgery she had many complications that caused her to be in the hospital for several months. Only a handful of times was any of her family allowed to see her, due to the pandemic & the rules of the hospitals. Melita was moved to a more specialized hospital & could not have any visitors. She was only allowed visitors via a window! The only time she was allowed to touch, feel or hear her family, was after she had coded multiple times....but then it was too late. She didn’t get to know her Dad, her husband, her boys, her grandparents, her brother, her daughters-in-law & her precious grand-babies were there...This was WRONG!!!! No one should have to die ALONE! Melita KNEW her family loved her, but when you are sick & down & discouraged, you NEED your family there. I pray no one else has to go thru this...sadly, there are SO many that have gone thru it & are going thru it now. This petition was formed to help get this law into congress to pass Melita’s Law, so NO ONE else has to go thru this EVER AGAIN!!!!!
