Thousands of people (adults and children) were exposed to contaminated drinking water at Pease. The high level of chemicals found in the drinking water have been linked with adverse health effects in humans and animals! The chemicals are known to remain in the human body for years. It is a public health issue that needs to be addressed. The exposed people at Pease are entitled to a blood test to assess the level of chemicals in their body and education on the adverse health effects in humans so they can be closely monitored by their healthcare professionals. These chemicals were identified in May of 2014 yet there is still no plan in place to get the people of Pease tested. This is unacceptable and it is time to push the government officials responsible for our health to give this important matter the sense of urgency and priority it deserves!!!
