The Issue
This letter is addressed to the leaders of human rights organizations. You can help the innocent children of Yemen by signing it.
"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person (Excerpts from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)". The international community was supposed to give all people the right to life under such laws, but is that the case in practice?
Only few days after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, all Western governments and the international community imposed the most severe economic, political, cultural, social and even sports sanctions on Russia, but despite seven years of war against Yemen and 74 years of oppression on the Palestinian people, not even a single serious sanction has been imposed on hostile governments …
The screams of the Yemeni children who were killed by a Saudi missile on a school bus will not be erased from the world's memory. more than 10,000 children killed or maimed since the war began. How can we sleep at night with a clear conscience while Yemen is struggling with the worst famine in its history? What is the guilt of the innocent Yemeni children whose voices are not heard? Because their eyes are not blue?
O executors of justice! Don't let humanity die in silence. Your decision today can make you a hero in the minds of the future generation, or an accomplice of the crime of the oppressors. We, the people of the world, ask you to force the Saudi coalition (especially Saudi Arabia) to stop the brutal killing of the Yemeni people by imposing severe international sanctions. If you do not stop this crime today, the greatest human crisis will occur before your eyes and you, as peacekeepers, will just be content to watch it? Then how will the future judge you? Rest assured that if you defend peace, all the humanity world will support you.
