There will be 1,968 Palestinian prisoners liberated today — 250 with life and long sentences, and 1718 recently abducted from Gaza during the genocide. Among those who will be liberated today include Mahmoud al-Ardah, the leader of the Freedom Tunnel operation, the escape from Gilboa prison; Ayham Kamamji, his comrade in the Freedom Tunnel escape; Kamil Abu Hanish, the imprisoned writer and PFLP leader serving 9 life sentences; Bassem Khandaqji, the imprisoned Palestinian novelist and winner of the International Prize for Arabic Fuction serving 3 life sentences; Mahmoud Issa, imprisoned since 1993, Palestinian student, writer and the creator of Al-Qassam cells in Jerusalem dedicated to the liberation of Palestinian prisoners; Naji Jaafarawi, the brother of the martyred journalist Saleh Jaafarawi, killed just yesterday by collaborator gangs, and many others -- as well as two women prisoners, Siham Abu Salem and Mervat Sarhan, from Gaza.
