Please join us in London on Saturday 9 March for our National March for Palestine. We can't stop putting pressure on our government to call for a full ceasefire and an end to Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

Recent days have seen yet more horrors in Israel’s unfolding genocide. Over 100 Palestinians were killed after Israeli forces fired on crowds desperately trying to get food from one of the few trucks they have allowed in. The UN’s World Food Programme reports that more than 400,000 Palestinians face starvation, and yet Israel still refuses to allow in food and essential supplies - and still our government refuses to pressure Israel to end the slaughter.

Instead, Rishi Sunak, rather than listening to the overwhelming majority of the public that polls show support our call for an immediate ceasefire, has sought to demonise those of us protesting, calling us extremists intent on mob rule. Ministers are seeking to suppress our right to march. We will not be deterred, nor will we ever allow the voices of the Palestinian people to be silenced.

So we need to continue our mass mobilisations calling for a ceasefire and an end to the UK’s complicity with Israel’s occupation and system of apartheid. But we can only do this with your help.

Yes – I can donate today

Yesterday PSC branches across the country led actions calling for a boycott of Barclays Bank. Barclays continues to invest in companies supplying Israel with the weapons it has used to kill over 30,000 Palestinians, 70% of them women and children. Next Saturday, on March 9th, hundreds of thousands of us will be marching again in London, this time to the US Embassy.

We need you to join us next Saturday so we can make clear to Rishi Sunak that our protest will not end until his government takes action to call for a ceasefire and to end its support for Israel’s system of oppression.

But we also need your urgent help to enable us to keep organising demonstrations on this mass scale and to build the movement further.

PSC is building the largest mass movement for justice for the Palestinian people that the UK has ever seen. We now have 100 branches across the country and the number of you now receiving these emails has grown from 75,000 before October to 300,000 now. We need to harness that growth to keep up the pressure on our politicians and on complicit companies like Barclays.

But all of this costs money: The cost of the stage and sound systems for our demonstration next Saturday alone will be more than £30k.

Can you help?

Thank you for all of your support. At our AGM last Saturday, Palestinian leader Mustafa Barghouti spoke to the hundreds of PSC members who attended. He told us that again, the Palestinian people will prevail and will never succumb to oppression. For our part, we must never allow those who stand on the wrong side of history, like Rishi Sunak and his government, to prevent us from standing with the Palestinian people, in active solidarity until their day of liberation arrives.
Please donate if you can

Yours in solidarity,
