Stand with Hisham:
Join FOA on Thursday 6th January, 5:30pm. Opposite the Israeli Embassy, by Palace Green, High Street Kensington, London W8 4QB.
Who is Hisham?
Hisham Abu Hawash is a husband and father of 5 from the occupied West Bank.
What happened?
In October 2020, Hisham was arrested and put under administrative detention. Israeli forces arrested Hisham without charge or trial on the grounds that he might commit an offence in the future. This is known as administrative detention. This violates international law and is illegal.
Hisham is just one of 500 Palestinians currently under administrative detention.
141 days ago, Hisham started a hunger strike to protest his illegal detention. He is now critically ill and faces sudden death
What can we do?
- Join the protest, for Hisham and all prisoners under administrative detention, at the Israeli Embassy in London, on Thursday 6th January, 5.30pm.
- Increase awareness of Hisham’s struggle and the administrative detention policy by using #FreeHisham #FreeThemAll.
-Write to your MPs to condemn this appalling policy: https://www.foa.org.uk/campaign/stopadministrativedetention/
