Shot 130 Times

A short while ago an Orangutans arrived at a local shelter with 130 rounds of air pellets lodged in his skull. Despite the best efforts of the surgeons, the Orangutans passed away. While the air pellets were the cause of death, there were additional wounds including 17 stab wounds and blunt force trauma to the chest, hand, and thigh. The prime suspects are a pair of rubber farmers. The government has done an atrocious at protecting this critically endangered species. Last month another Orangutans was found beheaded. That marks two confirmed kills and the year has barely started. The only way to save the Orangutans is to move them into a protected sanctuary, far far away from humans.
