This morning, I woke up 2 d news that electricity tariffs R going up by 80%. Initially I couldn't imbibe yet another NDC pill, 'twas early in d morning & I was still in sleep mode, then I read d article on Ghanaweb & my heart bled 4 my nation; it dawned upon me that we're paying 4 debt accrued due 2 institutional corruption. Just imagine d collossal income of VRA & ECG, & all that isn't enough 2 resolve d perennial electricity crisis!!! Where's all d money going 2? How many houses, cars, lands, in Africa, Europe & U.S, do these civil servants have? Acquisitions from d sweat & toil of suffering Ghanaians! How much money do they have in their secret accounts, all embezzled from d institution coffers? What bitter pills must undeserving Ghanaians swallow until the canker is treated? Since there's no remedy evisaged in the near future, fellow countrymen & women, U must take the pills standing tall, no matter how bitingly astringent they may be or risk being called traitors if U cried foul.
