Atheists , ex-muslims and freethinkers in the islamic countries are exposed to persecution and repression by the family , society , government and radical islamic groups continuously because of the religious legislations and local laws in those countries (apostasy death penalty and blasphemy laws) therefore they are being threatened and exposed to arbitrary interference , societal ostracism , chasing , kidnapping , violence , imprisonment and murder* .

And because of the dangers associated with speaking out their opinions publicly they have to hide their identities and express their opinions through social media websites however they are still being traced , threatened and exposed to these repressive practices mentioned above , added to that the psychological issues associated with living in double personality .

Not to mention that there is a media blackout regarding these human rights violations , and what has been documented in the past is just a little part of these violations , as well as the violations that are being practiced by the family and society against atheists are not published due to the society’s point of view about atheism that consider it as a shame for family according to the tribal traditions .

 

These practices violates the articles (2, 3, 7, 12, 18, 19, 27) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights , and because the governments of these countries refuse any demands to respect the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and continue their repressive practices against us , we therefore call on the international community and the UN’s human rights council to adhere to their moral and humanitarian duties .

We as atheists , ex-muslims , freethinkers from islamic countries and supporters of their rights are calling on the UN’s human rights council to :

1- consider atheists , ex-muslims and freethinkers from islamic countries an oppressed minority which is being exposed to discrimination .

2- practice an international pressures on those governments to force them to respect the international declaration of human rights .

3- create an atheists protection scheme that includes :

A- a committee to help with the required media coverage for any future violations , and to get more in depth information about the status of atheists in the islamic countries , make surveys … etc.

B- a special scheme of relocation/asylum for atheists , ex-muslims , and freethinkers from islamic countries according to article 14 of the UDHR , in which it should be consistent with their circumstances .

C- international fund for atheists , ex-muslims , and freethinkers from the islamic countries to support them live their life in dignity , integrate with the society , participate in the cultural life and to provide the resources which are required for the points (A, B) of this scheme.

4- provide a representation for atheists , ex-muslims and freethinkers from the islamic countries in the UN’s human rights council .

We are just asking to live normal life without being exposed to degrading practices and persecution , are we asking for too much ?

PROTÉGER LES ATHÉES ET EX-MUSULMANS DANS LES PAYS MUSULMANS

 Les athées, ex-musulmans et libres-penseurs des pays musulmans sont continuellement exposés à la persécution et la répression par leur famille, la société, le gouvernement et les groupes islamiques radicaux à cause de la législation religieuse et des loi locales ( peine de mort pour apostasie et lois anti-blasphème). De ce fait ils sont menacés et risquent de subir des ingérences arbitraires, l’ostracisme social, des poursuites, le kidnapping, l’emprisonnement et le meurtre.

 A cause des dangers associés au fait d’exprimer publiquement leurs opinions ils doivent cacher leurs identité et s’exprimer sur les réseaux sociaux où ils peuvent être néanmoins traqués, menacés et exposés aux pratiques répressives mentionnées plus haut, à cela s’ajoutant les problèmes psychologiques découlant du fait de vivre une double vie.

 De plus il y a un blackout médiatique sur ces violations de droits de l’homme, et ce qui a été recensé dans le passé n’est qu’une toute petite partie de ces violations, de même que les violences commises par la famille et la société contre les athées restent cachées du fait du point de vue dominant sur l’athéisme, considéré comme une honte pour la famille du fait des traditions tribales.

 Ces pratiques violent les articles 2,3,7,12,18,19,27 de la déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme, or les gouvernements de ces pays refuse toute injonction quant au respect de ces articles et continuent de mener leur politique répressive à notre égard. Nous en appelons donc à la communauté internationale et à la commission des droits de l’homme de l’ONU et leur demandons de se conformer à leur devoir moral et humanitaire.

 Nous, en tant qu’athées, ex-musulmans, libre-penseurs des pays musulmans appelons le conseil des droits de l’homme de l’ONU à :

1- de considérer les athées, ex-musulmans, libres-penseurs des pays musulmans comme une minorité oppressée exposé à des discriminations.

2- de pratiquer une pression internationale sur ces gouvernements pour les forcer à respecter la déclaration internationale des droits de l’homme.

3- de mettre en place un plan de protection des athées qui inclurait :

A- Un comité qui aiderait à la couverture médiatique de toutes les prochaines violences, qui rassemblerait plus d’informations sur le statut des athées dans les pays musulmans, ferait des rapports, etc.

B- Un plan spécial d’accueil et de re-localisation pour les athées, ex-musulmans, libres-penseurs des pays musulmans en accord avec l’article 14 du la déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme.

C- Un fond international pour les athées, ex-musulmans, libres-penseurs des pays musulmans pour leur permettre de vivre leur vie dignement, de s’intégrer à la société, participer à la vie culturelle et qui fournirait les ressources nécessaires pour mettre en oeuvre les points A et B de ce plan.

4- de fournir une représentation aux athées, ex-musulmans et libres-penseurs des pays musulmans au sein du Conseil des droits de l’homme de l’ONU

 

Nous demandons juste le droit de mener une vie normale sans être exposés à des pratiques dégradantes et à la persécution, est-ce trop demander ?

يتعرض الملحدون والمرتدون في البلدان الاسلامية الى الاضطهاد والقمع من قبل العائلة والمجتمع والدولة والجماعات الدينية المتشددة بأستمرار بسبب التشريعات الدينية والقوانين المحلية في هذه البلدان والمتمثلة بقانوني قتل المرتد وازدراء الاديان مما يجعلهم عرضة للتدخل التعسفي والنبذ المجتمعي و الملاحقة والاختطاف والعنف والحبس والقتل *
وبسبب المخاطر المترتبة على التعبير عن ارائهم بحرية في العلن فأنهم يلجؤون لأخفاء هوياتهم ونشر افكارهم عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ورغم ذلك فأن تلك الممارسات القمعية تطالهم بطريقة او بأخرى ويتم ملاحقتهم وكشف هوياتهم اضافة الى الاضرار النفسية المترتبة على اخفاء شخصيتهم الحقيقية والاضطرار لتصنع شخصية متدينة
علما بأنه هناك تعتيم اعلامي على اغلب الانتهاكات ضد الملحدين وما تم توثيقه يمثل جزءا بسيطا من هذه الانتهاكات فضلا عن ان الانتهاكات التي تحدث من قبل العائلة والمجتمع لا يتم الاعلان عنها بسبب النظرة المجتمعية للالحاد وما سيلحق من عار بتلك العائلة حسب العرف القبلي

وهذه الانتهاكات و التعاملات الحاطة بالكرامة تخالف المواد (2 و 3 و 7 و 12 و 18 و 19 و 27) من الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان ولأن سلطات هذه الدول والجهات الدينية ترفض بأستمرار اية مطالب باحترام الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان وتستمر بممارساتها القمعية اللاانسانية ضدنا فنحن نطالب المجتمع الدولي ومجلس حقوق الانسان التابع للامم المتحدة بالالتزام بواجبهم الاخلاقي والانساني

نحن كملحدين ومرتدين ومن يساند حقوقنا ومن منطلق ايماننا بعدالة قضيتنا نطالب المجتمع الدولي بالالتزام بمسؤلياته الاخلاقية في ارساء حقوق الانسان والعمل على تطبيقها ونطالب مجلس حقوق الانسان التابع للأمم المتحدة بما يلي :
1- اعتبار الملحدين والمرتدين والمفكرين الاحرار في البلدان الاسلامية اقلية مضطهدة تتعرض للقمع والتمييز
2- ممارسة الضغوط الدولية على هذه الحكومات لاجبارها على احترام مواد الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان
3- ضرورة توفير برنامج حماية خاص بالملحدين والمرتدين والمفكرين الاحرار في البلدان الاسلامية يشمل :
أ- انشاء لجنة خاصة للمساعدة في توفير التغطية الاعلامية اللازمة لأي انتهاكات مستقبلية والحصول على معلومات اكثر عن الملحدين وعمل الاستطلاعات وغير ذلك
ب- توفير برنامج هجرة خاص بالملحدين عملا بالمادة 14 من الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الانسان يكون ملائما للأوضاع التي يمر بها الملحدون والمرتدون ومنسجما مع ظروفهم
ج- انشاء صندوق دولي لدعم الملحدين في العيش بكرامة والاندماج مع المجتمع والمشاركة في الحياة الثقافية وتوفير الموارد اللازمة المترتبة على النقطة أ و ب من البرنامج
4- ضرورة العمل على وجود تمثيل رسمي لهذه الاقلية في مجلس حقوق الانسان التابع للأمم المتحدة

نحن فقط نريد ان نعيش بكرامة دون التعرض للقمع . هل طلبنا الكثير ؟
