Medieval Ecology is a movement that aims to help the environment leaving it as it was at the beginning of the Middle Ages, without problems of deforestation or pollution.

Trees have many functions in nature, the most important are:

• Provide oxygen and clean the air
• Fight climate change
• Provide wood and fruits
• Reduce soil erosion
• Are home to many animals

We want everyone to know how serious the situation is, because many people believe that it is a minor problem. The negative effects that have arisen due to deforestation are:

1. Impact on the atmosphere

• A greater greenhouse effect causing climate change.

2. Hydrological impact

• Alter the water cycle causing torrential rains, droughts, floods, among others.

3. Impact on the ground

• Accelerates erosion causing landslides and desertification.

4. Impact on biodiversity

• In an ecosystem, each species has a function; if trees disappear, the entire ecosystem is altered, extinguishing species and causing desertification.

There are several ways to help, such as controlled logging or polycultures, many times we can not do anything, but even so, there are still several ways to help individually such as planting a tree, signing the petition and sharing the information.

Medieval Ecology emerges mainly to reforest areas that need it, but in the future it is expected to reach much more, that is why funds are sought to fill the planet with trees, there are several ways to contribute, but the two main ones are to buy the e-book or a shirt.

Medieval Ecology es un movimiento que tiene como finalidad ayudar al medio ambiente dejándolo como era al inicio de la edad media, sin problemas de deforestación o contaminación.

Los árboles tienen muchas funciones en la naturaleza, las más importantes son:

• Aportan oxígeno y limpian el aire
• Combaten el cambio climático
• Proporcionan madera y frutos
• Reducen la erosión del suelo
• Son el hogar de muchos animales

Queremos que todo el mundo se entere de lo grave que es la situación, pues muchos creen que es un problema menor. Los efectos negativos que han surgido debido a la deforestación son:

1. Impacto en la atmósfera

• Un mayor efecto invernadero causando el cambio climático.

2. Impacto hidrológico

• Altera el ciclo del agua causando lluvias torrenciales, sequías, inundaciones, entre otros.

3. Impacto en el suelo

• Acelera la erosión causando deslaves y desertificación.

4. Impacto en la biodiversidad

• En un ecosistema cada especie tiene una función, si desaparecen los árboles se altera todo el ecosistema extinguiendo especies y llegando a causar desertificación.

Existen varias formas de ayudar, como una tala controlada o policultivos, muchas veces la mayoría no podemos hacer nada, pero aun así, todavía hay varias formas para ayudar de forma individual como el hecho de sembrar un árbol, firmar la petición y compartir la información.

Medieval Ecology surge principalmente para reforestar zonas que lo necesiten, pero en un futuro se espera llegar a mucho más, es por eso que se buscan fondos para llenar el planeta de árboles, hay varias formas de aportar, pero las dos principales son comprar el e-book o una camiseta.
