We want to bring more awareness for an urgent and ongoing needs regarding the survival of Asiatic Cheetahs. Less than 40 Asiatic Cheetahs are left in the wild, all currently live in Iran. We must act now to save this majestic species. International Organizations has spent tremendous amount of money to save other endangered species, but very little has been done for Asiatic Cheetahs. Outside donations from private donors have not been possible due to the U.S. imposed sanctions on Iran’s financial sectors. Conservation funding should not be unevenly distributed or biased towards a species just because of where its habitat happens to exist. We also should not allow the survival of a species be diminished due to political disagreements. Internationally, the funding is of absolute necessity since conservation projects are expensive and in need of expertise and dedication. The survival of Asiatic Cheetah must be a global responsibility.
