Petition updateUnited Nations: BAN Trophy Hunting. END Export/Imports. PRISON for Poachers. The Bizarre Story of Britain’s Last Great Auk
G VFresno, CA, United States

"...the birds were easy to kill. Great auks had no fear of humans; a person could easily walk up to a bird and strangle it—and many did."

So in the 1840's the desire to kill and make money outweighed any sense of decency or humanity, they killed the last one.
So what's changed in the last 180 years? Nothing.
People still kill the great wild creatures for money, greed, and the worst of all, the desire to kill.

What does the future hold for planet Earth if we don't do something right now?  Will we do nothing, just watch it happen? What will you do?
What will you say to your children and grandchildren about the things you did to stop the killing? Don't give up!
