Today (April 8, 2025), TLHR was notified that the Phitsanulok Provincial Court has denied the bail request for Dr. Paul Chambers, an American academic and lecturer at Naresuan University, in connection with charges under Section 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act. This decision came after he reported himself to the inquiry officials at the Phitsanulok City Police Station.

Dr. Chambers had been issued an arrest warrant related to charges under Section 112 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act. The complaint in this case was filed by the Third Army Region. He had never received a summons prior to this
