We mourn the passing of Essie Mae McCorkle this week. She was a great, great-granddaughter of Henry Brevard. 

Essie was dedicated to the Lord. She labored as a volunteer for this cause to see that Brevard was returned to the bloodline of the Brevard family. Her plans were to return to Denver and serve the community.
