There are a lot of american bullies that are still registered as american pit bull terriers in an effort to get the dogs in the correct breed we are petitioning the ukc to open breed registration up to be free for a period of one month to allow those with larger yards who have already paid previously to register the dog as a pit bull to switch it over for free to an american bully.  This will be beneficial to both breeds in correcting a problem that has existed for quite some time.  Ukc had already taken the first step to improving both breeds by opening up and adding the american bully we just ask for a little more support since fees have already been paid once and many are taking so long to transfer the dogs because of the cost of doing their entire yard.
