After careful consideration I have decided to remove the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma from receiving any of the relief requested. I have reached this decision after both past and recent actions taken by the CNO leadership that are not only inconsistent with the ancestral teachings of the Cherokee people but highlight its thirst for more money and power which seldom benefit Cherokee people equally, and are frequently denied to many citizens who not only are qualified but also in often times desperate need. 

            For this reason I strongly urge all CNO members who meet the 1/4 blood quantum requirement of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma or Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians to change enrollment as only members of these two tribal governments will receive the compensation of $50,000,000,000. This will increase the expected relief to each citizen to more than $200,000 each. 

          I deeply apologize for those who, like my own children, do not meet this minimal enrollment requirement. Any complaints you may have please direct to the offices of Chief Chuck Hoskins Jr, Deputy Chief Brian Warner or your local councilman or woman of the CNO. This amendment is a direct result of multiple actions from its leadership, both past and present, that have demonstrated that the CNO leadership have turned away from the teachings of our ancestors which were not only a defining attribute to our ancestors but are vital to the preservation of our Cherokee heritage.
