The Issue

My Native brothers and sisters, I speak to you now from my heart.

Hello, and thank you for taking the critical first step by visiting our petition on Change.org. Your presence here signifies a commitment to justice, fairness, and the protection of the rights promised to Native nations.

By signing this petition, you are not just adding your name to a list—you are joining a movement to uphold the promises made to our people and ensure that our sovereignty is recognized and respected. This is a fight for justice, dignity, and the enforcement of treaty obligations that have been ignored for far too long.

The case Bolin v. State of Oklahoma and Governor Stitt (Case No. 24-CV-190-JFH-GLJ) is more than a legal battle—it is a fight to restore rights and protections guaranteed under U.S. law, including 25 USC §71, which confirms that “No obligation of any treaty lawfully made and ratified with any such Indian nation, tribe, or power prior to March 3, 1871 shall be hereby invalidated or impaired.” This law gives us a path to enforce treaty promises that have long been violated.
