I just received an update from the Court regarding our case. The US Marshalls reported serving the state of Oklahoma and Governor Stitt the summons on August 15, 2024 which would mean that the response is due no later than 2 weeks from today on September 6, 2024.
As I have stated before the states response is going to be to be an attempt at dismissal to which I have already prepared my response. Once the response is filed I wholeheartedly believe the judge will deny the defendants attempt to dismiss and in fact oder the matter to trial.
Once I have successfully cleared this hurdle, the media throughout Oklahoma and likely the country will be covering the case which will increase awareness and support. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't still strive to reach every we can each day.
Remember, the Supreme laws of the land (specifically the Treaty of 1833 along with 25 USC §71 & §180) states that these lands would "forever" belong to my people. If our chosen leaders will not stand up for my rights, then I will. In doing so I am also asserting the rights of all Cherokee people. So for that reason ask that each of you continue to share the petition link and encourage others to sign and share as well.
Together we can change the world with our actions. Thank you all and have a blessed day.
