United’s PetSafe Program is crucial to getting military families pets to and from Guam, being the only U.S. airline that ships to/from the island. With United suspending their PetSafe Program it adds more stress to an already difficult move and there are several families who have already had to make the terribly tough decision to go on without their pets because they have no other option. There are hundreds of military families begging to please reopen the PetSafe Program especially between Hawaii and Guam. Military families have to pay out of pocket to ship pets, and being stationed on Guam makes it much more expensive. United’s program eases some of the financial stress that these families face at this unique duty station. 

Please United, we are begging you to reopen this program and these routes between Guam and Hawaii to military families. While there is a stop movement currently in place, there are still families that have to go on to their next duty station, so families are still moving! Please keep families together during an already stressful and uncertain time. We would be so grateful.
