Say No to Harriet Tubman on The Twenty Dollar Bill Respect Her Legacy
The Issue
Dear United States Government We The People Descendants of Enslaved People’s say by Placing Queen Mother Harriet Tubman on the twenty dollar bill that once held and will still hold a president that once owned African Human Beings and participated in human trafficking of enslaved peoples the most dehumanizing violations of human rights a system that Harriet Tubman fought to abolish and end by taking several trips to south to free African people from bondage a legacy of struggle for the rights of black bodies to exist as human beings is disrespectful to her legacy and the black nation. Even today that struggle continues for 45 million Africans in the United States there’s no value in replacing a slave owner on Money that was exchanged for black bodies just for temporary inclusion when those wrongs of the domestic and abroad slave trade haven’t been addressed today through reparatory justice ( Reparations ) the process of repairing a damaged people. We say respect the legacy of Harriet Tubman and Those ancestors who were enslaved victims of human trafficking by not putting our ancestor on The Twenty Dollar Bill Respectfully! The Conversation Is Reparations! - Haki Kweli Shakur
