The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), headed by Jonathan Greenblatt, has driven advertisers off of X (formerly Twitter) and will continue withholding support until the platform complies with their censorious demands or is bled dry. Either outcome would be horrible for those who view X as humanity's town square and center for free speech.

The ADL has aggressively pushed for their ideological rivals, like Chaya Raichik who runs Libs of TikTok, to be banned from X. If the ADL succeeds in their attempts, X will become a less free platform.

Imagine how many potential thought leaders have been silenced by censorious moderation policies like those pushed by the ADL. The amount of damage and level of manipulation caused by discourse engineering is immeasurable.

The ADL has an authoritarian bias. We must reject their censorious agenda and work to defend free speech on X.
