The Issue

In this era of technology, health and well-being become one of the essential things to people. Without them, a man cannot have a proper life. However, we can see nowadays, people are less aware about the importance of maintaining healthy life style including mental wellness and positive mood. As we all know, people are usually busy with their work and career. Thus, they do not have time to cook and tend to buy instant food from outside. It is a sign of unhealthy life style that could contribute to the health problems. Besides, most of us also suffered with mental illness whereby they really scared to pour out their internal feelings. For instance, when facing any problems in studies, family matters and so on. 

Due to a statistic in 2008, the World Health Organization Global Status Report 2010 recorded a number of 36.1 million deaths around the world caused by four main non-communicable diseases (NCDs) which are heart diseases, chronic lung diseases, cancers, and diabetes while heart attacks and strokes are among the main death causes in Malaysia (The Star, 2012). Meanwhile, National Health Morbidity Survey in 2015 reported the prevalence of mental health problem among adult and children were 29.2% and 12.1% respectively. The prevalence of suicidal attempt was apparently increasing in Malaysia. 

Therefore, our purpose and priorities are to educate people on how to manage good lifestyle and reduce the rate of mental problem among Malaysian. Let us take a small action by learning about mental health and lend a hand to people in need to create a big change in future. There's a quote said, if we cannot do a great thing, do a small thing in a great way. Hence, let us all build a healthy generation together internally and externally.
