Union public schools is trying to enforce a new dress code this year (that seems to only apply  to the girls) Union has started a big commotion for sending hundreds of girls home for the past few days. Students are prohibited from wearing comfortable clothing “loungewear” as they refer to it as well as clothing that shows any amount of skin, even if your shirt comes up half an inch or your straps are to small you are sent home. The school is choosing to shame women for their bodies and sense of style. I personally have been going to the high school for the past 2 years now I have worn pj’s as well as “comfortable wear” several times over the years and now it’s a crime my senior year “the most relaxed year” as they say. Please take a stand with us and sign this petition for all the young women going to public schools that have outrageous dress codes such as ours the change starts with you! - thank you.
