UEASU today announced that Pimp My Barrow 2015 will fall on 30th May, a week before the exam period is over. This means many students who look forward to this event all year round will be unable to participate because of exams the following week. Pimp My Barrow 2014 was held on 7th June, after the exam period was over. This allowed students from across the university to look forward getting exams over and participating in the event, celebrating another year coming to an end. The decision to bring the event forward by one week this year is a huge blow to students who have exams at the start of June and have already been looking forward to participating in PMB 2015. UEASU should recognise this error and move PMB 2015 to Saturday 6th June. It is wholly unfair to allow it to continue to go ahead with the current date of 30th May, excluding students and causing disruption to the exam period.
