Because of your support, the DC Department of Parks & Recreation has requested a letter of support from the Ward 5 ANC for a new Community Park and a dedicated Community Dog Park at Union Market District
. The Ward 5 Beautification Committee — of which I’m proud to be a member — has reviewed the proposal and is recommending approval and a formal resolution.
The ANC Committee of the Whole will meet on 8/25 to answer any final questions, and the ANC will vote at the Public Meeting on 9/8.
